about

bio

I was born in Mantova in 1990. I studied sociology in Trento and then editing at the ZeLIG film school in Bozen. I am interested in telling stories about human beings, their conflicts and dreams — non-fiction is my favorite genre.

In 2017 I worked as assistant editor on the film “Menocchio”. Since 2018 I have been working as a freelance editor between Bozen and Trento, editing fiction short films, feature-length documentaries for cinema and television, and many other kinds of audiovisual products, such as video art installations and image films for public institutions or museums.

Working every day selecting images and sounds, I developed a strong interest in studying and reflecting on the editing craft, which led to the podcast “Montatori Anonimi.” I created and hosted this podcast with Pierpaolo Filomeno and Beppe Leonetti from 2021 to 2023, having the opportunity to speak with many other editors about this strange job. In 2023 I co-directed my first documentary feature film, Immer Verzeihen, with Davide Grotta, which premiered at the 25th Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival. I am a member of the production company Korabi.
